It's absolutely lovely! And congrats on your success at CosCon - much deserved!
Stunning!!! The fit, the color, everything is just lovely!
Beautiful! Love the fabric choice! And I second Madame Berg, congrats on your well deserved win at CosCon!
I've been quietly admiring the costumes you create for several years, and this is one of the nicest yet. Bravo!
WOW! You look absolutely stunning, and perfectly the part. /inspired!
Gorgeous! You look fabulous.
Thanks everybody! I was already pleased with how this dress came out, but your comments make me even happier with it :)
Absolutely beautiful. What fabric did you use for the dress?
It's beautiful! All the details are simply wonderful! :D
Thanks again :)I used a silk brocade I found in the Garment District in LA. You have no idea how excited I was to find it!
Gorgeous gown and the fabric is to die for!
The Fabric is so nice - one of the best dresses you made so far, i think (:
Wow, this is so perfect. It is the first dress I've ever though "Wow this looks like an original that just came out of a museum".
Love it. Just love it.
What kind of shift do you have on and where can I find one? I love the sleeves!
The shift is from the Kannik's Korner pattern. I just added buttoned cuffs instead of the uncuffed sleeves in the pattern. The sleeve flounces are from Patterns of Fashion by Janet Arnold. They're made of linen and basted to the dress.I'm not sure where you could buy either one ready made. Both are quite simple though!
